The Inventerre Biodiversity Festival celebrates its 10th edition on the theme of the Living Alps!

A rich and varied program linking culture and science awaits you: screenings, lectures, exhibitions, discovery outings, shows and workshops. It’s for everyone, from young audiences to committed researchers.

Wednesday, October1: Vivre la Nuit evening

5 p.m. | Botanical walk

With Alain Renaux, ethnobotanist at the CNRS in Montpellier

A botanical stroll through the Museum, exploring the little-known uses of plants. RDV at reception | All Public

6 p.m. | Live entertainment

Poetic wandering

An original TOP creation with Cie Zec, actor Philippe Granarolo and musicians Solal Fayet and Daniel Radzki.

Guided by a strange moth along a promenade path strewn with surprises, the audience immerses itself in the world of Zenzero and Cannella, a circus duo.

8:30 p.m. | La Réserve Internationale de Ciel Étoilé

Presented by Clément Cazé, project manager at Géoparc de Haute-Provence. RDV on the remparts terrace.

9 pm – 12 am | Stories and legends associated with the constellations & observation of the sky and nocturnal fauna (butterflies and bats)

Saturday, October 4: Living landscapes

10 am | Children’s workshop (6-12 years)

On the evolution of landscapes: paleo-environmental illustration with a mediator from Géoparc de Haute-Provence. RDV on the ramparts terrace.

3 p.m. | Introduction to drawing and reading landscapes in situ

With Florent Contin-Roux, drawing/painting teacher at IDBL art school

Participants must bring their own materials: 1 A4 or A3 thick paper sketchbook, pencils, eraser, charcoal, watercolor. Meeting point on the ramparts terrace.

4 p.m. | Reading the Bléone landscape

By Jérémie Talancieux, river technician at Syndicat Mixte Asse Bléone and Marie-Jo Soncini, geologist at Géoparc de Haute-Provence.

From the lookout point at the Promenade Museum, discover the secrets of the braided Bléone River as it flows through Digne-les-Bains. Its history, how it works and its special features. RDV on the ramparts terrace.
