Saturday, September 6, from 10am to 12pm, at the Escale multimedia library.
Bring your rocks!
Who hasn’t picked up a pebble along the way, intrigued by its color, shape or particular lustre? Silent witnesses to unsuspected stories, these stones, sometimes inherited from relatives, often rest silently on a shelf or at the bottom of a drawer. But what are they, and what do they tell us about the world around us?
Geoparc de Haute-Provence mediators will be on hand to help local residents observe, analyze and identify their finds. Using observation tools accessible to all, they will guide young and old alike in the recognition of minerals and fossils.
All ages – from 10
