After an introduction to the marine environment of Digne in the Secondary Era, in relation to the continuous movement of continents, students are invited to discover and reconstruct a rich ancient marine biodiversity based on regional fossils that they observe, manipulate and draw. As we model fossilization together, everything becomes clearer. Animals of yesterday and today meet up across time, unless evolution rhymes with extinction… It’s up to each of us to ask questions and seek information in the documents provided to find the lifestyles and relationships between living beings that populated the great Tethyan ocean in the Jurassic period.
