Lagremuse

The former village of Lagremuse, now in ruins, has been part of the Chaffaut-Saint-Jurson commune since 1887. Remarkably situated on a rocky eminence, composed of a conglomerate called Poudingues de Valensole, overlooking the Val de Bléone, it offers a lovely semicircular panorama of the Dignois Pre-Alps. Lagremuse is also the name given to the small grey wall lizard, which is particularly fond of the rocky crevices in which it finds refuge.
