Welcome to the Château de la Robine! Between earth and sky, in the heart of the Haute-Provence Geopark, in a comfortable gîte, you’ll discover one of the purest skies in Europe.
From the courtyard of the Provencal farmhouse, take the ancestral staircase to the 3rd floor. You’ll discover a luminous, comfortable 35m2 cocoon (2 pers.). You’ll be able to gaze at the stars from the private terrace, in nearby nature or even in a whirlpool bath… under a roof window!
Your hosts, Nathalie and Frédéric, will give you lots of advice and tell you all about Pierre Gassendi, an astronomer, mathematician and philosopher who was one of the most brilliant minds of the 17th century. You’ll then set off to discover an exceptional region. A few steps away, after counting the stars, you can count the ammonites on the road to Digne-les-Bains or the fossilized bird pasta prints in the clues at Barles! And you’ll be amazed by the works of international artists that pop up along the way…
