The Gîte de Flagustelle is a self-catering, half-board group accommodation ideal for mountain activities.
The Gîte de Flagustelle is housed in the former schoolhouse of the village of Verdaches. At an altitude of 1100 m, between the Alps and Provence, its location will enable you to discover a wild and unspoilt territory, which contains the oldest traces of the Earth’s memory (- 300 million years).
In the heart of the Haute-Provence Geopark, you’ll cross the impressive clues carved out by the Bès river. The valley is home to several listed sites in the Geological Nature Reserve, as well as works of contemporary art in the heart of nature.
The more alpine Vallée de la Blanche welcomes you in summer and winter alike. You’ll discover Seyne, the ski resorts (Grand Puy, Chabanon, Saint-Jean-Montclar) and the Fanget Nordic site. You can enjoy a wide range of activities: hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking (VTTAE can be rented), horseback riding, paragliding, swimming in Serre-Ponçon or in the river.

With family or friends, a cycling escapade (Dutch-style bicycles supplied) along the Bès and through geological time.
Cycle down the route des clues, from Verdaches to Digne les Bains (30 km) in the UNESCO Geopark of Haute-Provence.
At the end of the day, return to Digne les Bains by minibus.
The Vallée de la Blanche and the Massif des Monges offer a wide range of activities in summer and winter: hiking (GR69 “La Routo”), snowshoeing, mountain biking (mountain bike base, bike park and Alpe-Provence itinerary), horse riding, paragliding, swimming in Serre-Ponçon or in the river… Discover Seyne, the ski resorts (Grand Puy, Chabanon, Saint-Jean-Montclar) and the Fanget Nordic site.
