Hiking France invites you to discover the landscapes and secret treasures of Haute-Provence and the Southern Alps, with hikes and excursions combining nature, geology and art.
As a mountain leader, Charles Speth will guide you to the most beautiful sites in the Haute-Provence Geopark. For a few hours or a few days, you’ll discover the exceptional history of the Earth (last 300 million years), an astonishing biodiversity and a rich, but sometimes secret, human history.
Hiking France offers you unparalleled experiences: panoramic views, landscape readings, sunrises and sunsets, observation of ibexes, marmots and vultures, encounters with herds in the alpine pastures… In this region, where art and landscapes are inseparable, you’ll also discover the works of international artists (Refuges d’art, Collection Art en montagne).
Main sectors: Monges, Bès, Haute-Bléone, 3 Evêchés, Verdon. Groups of 4 to 14 p. Introduction to cartography/orientation possible. Snowshoe outings also available.
