Whether they’re beekeepers, farmers, breeders, herbalists… they’re all keen to share their skills during visits to their farms or markets. Come and meet them, and leave with some great local produce.

ATELIER BONDIL

Immerse yourself in the excellence and elegance of Moustiers earthenware: the Bondil workshop has been perpetuating the work of 17th-century master earthenware makers with rigor and passion for over 40 years. L'Atelier Bondil is a designer of traditional and contemporary styles, with the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) label, and is a geopartner, i.e. a company committed to the Haute-Provence Geopark. All stages of preparation, manufacture, finishing and decoration are carried out entirely by hand by talented, highly-skilled craftsmen, giving each object its unique, artistic character. Respectful of traditional styles, these craftsmen also apply their skills to collections of original and innovative design. You can enjoy the pieces and continue your visit in the heart of the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Guided tours, from June to September, every Wednesday at 10 am. Tours last 30 minutes, for groups of 10.

LA FERME DU CHÂTEAU LA ROBINE

In the hamlet of Lambert, come and discover this traditional mid-mountain farm: goat and sheep breeding, dairy and cheese processing. In this territory, at the heart of the Haute-Provence Geopark, pastoralism is intimately linked to the landscape, relief, soil and, of course, climate. Just a stone's throw from the Massif des Monges, Alessia and Jérôme passionately raise their goats and ewes, as well as rabbits, pigs, chickens, geese and horses! They fell in love with the commune of La Robine and settled there in 2017. The animals thrive in the fresh air, at an altitude of 1,140 meters. Cheese processing takes place on site. On site, you'll find a range of farm products: goat cheese, lamb and kid meat, pear juice, charcuterie and pâtés, yoghurts, fromage frais and faisselles made with goat's milk. LES RUCHERS DE LA BASTIDE BLANCHE

Come and discover the Ruchers de la Bastide blanche in Estoublon, where you can taste the scented honeys in a Provencal atmosphere. A sensory and olfactory stopover on the route des Galets of the Haute-Provence Geopark. You are in the commune of Estoublon, just a few kilometers from the famous Valensole plateau and its lavender-blue immensities. Gisèle Emeline, geopartner of the Géoparc de Haute-Provence, has several products to her credit: garrigue honey, lavender, chestnut, Alpine flowers, gingerbread, nougat, honey calissons made on the farm, mielettes, honey cookies... Haute-Provence honey benefits from the presence of aromatic plants in both cultivated and wild areas: lavender and lavandin, of course, but also thyme, rosemary, savory, hyssop... which are valuable melliferous plants, flowering at different times. Gisèle will be delighted to welcome you, either on your own or in a group, and offer tours and events. Among other things, you'll be able to observe, listen to and smell a living beehive (a transparent beehive with a mesh screen to get as close as possible to the bees).

ARGENS BLUE

In the heart of the Haute-Provence Geopark, immerse yourself in a world of scents and discover a range of 100% natural products. Véronique welcomes you to a beautiful century-old building to show you her passion and her business. You'll discover an exemplary farm and learn all about lavender, from the seed or cutting to the essential oil, its use and processing. A farmer with a passion for the benefits of fragrant, aromatic and medicinal plants, Véronique has been cultivating, harvesting and distilling them for over 20 years, carrying on the tradition. With a background in aromatherapy, she has developed a wide range of 100% natural cosmetics, most of them organically grown. These products will bring you pleasure and well-being on a daily basis. Essential oils, floral waters, balms and cosmetics, gift sets. You'll also find olive oil produced on the farm and honey from neighboring producers.

LA FERME DU ROUVEYRET

Founded in 2011 at the foot of the Siron mountain, in the Rouveyret valley (Digne-les-Bains), the farm raises free-range Aubrac cows and lambs using organic farming methods. Stéphane Estublier is an enthusiast. After studying agriculture, he joined the municipal services, but still had a childhood dream: to become a breeder. At the age of 41, his dream came true: he settled on the land once farmed by his grandparents. One spring evening, eight Aubrac mothers and a bull set up home at Le Rouveyret. By 2014, the herd had grown to 15 cows. A year later, when Stéphane took over the farm from his wife's aunt and uncle in Senez, the herd grew to 25 head. Some fifty ewes join the adventure. The animals are free-range, fed on their mother's milk and grass. They graze all year round and receive additional forage harvested on the farm. In this land of pastoralism and transhumance

GAEC ÉTOILE DU BERGER

The white Sarteau pear from Draix: a heritage in its own right and a pure delight to discover, in candied fruit, fruit juices or in tarts and cakes. The tall pear trees seem to bask in the sun on the foothills of the Haute-Provence Geopark, in Draix to be exact, in Haute-Bléone, close to the robines. Here, the Sarteau pear is king! Once used for family purposes, it was discovered by Provençal confectioners in the 1940s, thanks to its fine taste and perfect texture. Then, candied fruit went out of fashion and the little pear was neglected. But Claude Pélestor decided to resist and embarked on a great adventure. He wanted to take up the challenge of combining production and processing... and he succeeded! The white Sarteau de Draix pear has regained its letters of nobility, boasts an organic label and now takes pride of place on the best tables. As well as the candied pear, you'll love the delicious fruit juice.

The wide selection of artisanal cookies, baked on the premises, will satisfy every taste and every craving! For a quick break or a real moment of pleasure and relaxation with friends, the Boîte à Biscuits awaits you. La Boîte à Biscuits is a committed geopartner in the heart of the Haute-Provence Geopark. ADOUX PRODUCTS

In a secret, unspoilt valley, you'll discover a range of 100% natural products made from wild or cultivated plants: fine lavender essential oil, hydrolats, jams, syrups... Aromatic plants are harvested and cultivated in all the valleys of the Haute-Provence Geopark, where they benefit from an ideal terroir and climate. Here, at Produits de l'Adoux, you'll find quality products, with no preservatives or colorants. Fine lavender essential oil is a must. You'll also find hydrolats that are less well known but rich in active ingredients: yarrow, hyssop, wild carrot, St. John's wort, nettle, savory, sage, elderberry, thyme, linden, Scotch pine, juniper, lemon balm, peppermint and lavender! You'll find balms for bruises and traumas (Immortelle) and for skin problems (Synphytum). As for food, you'll enjoy jams, syrups and essence delights with floral waters, perfect for quenching your thirst, flavoring your desserts or accompanying your cheeses!

BEVEDIS BREWERY

Brasserie Bevedis is located in Le Chaffaut-Saint-Jurson, just a few yards from two of our region's most emblematic long-distance hiking trails: La Routo (GR69) and the Route Napoléon (GR406). Hugues and Robin are keen to share their know-how. They brew and distribute beers in short circuits, using organic malts and hops from the département. The Bevedis Brewery is also committed to environmental actions: composting of spent grain, brewing water optimization systems, bottle collection. They'll be delighted to let you taste their homemade beers and lemonades on occasion! 5L kegs for evenings out with friends, at home or out and about, which stay cool for more than 12 hours, can be hired. For larger events, 19L kegs are available for hire with a fountain. By the way! Bevedis means "thirsty" in Provençal...
