Students are introduced to the excavation of reconstructed fossil sites, locating, identifying and interpreting the fossil assemblages discovered: trilobites or corals from the Primary Era, dinosaur bones, teeth or eggs from the Secondary Era, monkeys or fish from the Tertiary Era… Which of these will they unearth? Please note: not every piece of skeleton corresponds to a dinosaur! The workshop is a fun way to work in teams, reconstruct paleo-environments, talk about evolution and fossilization… Navigating through time quickly becomes child’s play!
