Joan Fontcuberta's Hydropithecas Project consists of several artworks installed in the Geopark area. In addition to the Hydropithecus of the Barre de Tremblès Mountain, there is also a piece at the Grande-Cascade / Great Waterfall in the Museum park, and also the Mermaid of Le Bès.

With his inventive and creative use of very real fossils, the artist invites us to reflect on the way we perceive and interpret (scientific) information. Thanks to the artist's work, we are invited to possibly begin doubting!
