Meeting People With A Shared Passion
The Haute-Provence UNESCO Global Geopark has a rich and diverse heritage and even more so when considering the people and communities who live there. It is with them, and thanks to them, that gives the territory one of its many values and meanings.
Together, they form a network of over 130 partners. While some have had their roots in the area for many years, others have fallen in love with the mountains and have come to settle here more recently. But all of them are eager to live here and to share their passion for their territory through its splendours as well as through its products and produce.
Accommodation providers, restaurateurs, crafts-people and producers, as well as outdoor activity professionals, museum managers, club and association leaders have all chosen to mutually work together to bring the Geopark's heritage to life in the spirit of sustainable development.
Certains d'entre eux bénéficient du label GEOfood, démarche proposée par le Géoparc mondial UNESCO Magma (Norvège) à laquelle s'est associé l'UNESCO Géoparc de Haute Provence.
